I AM SAD....

How are you all ??? I am extremely saddened by the news that AOL J-Land is closing its doors at the end of the month. I don't know if I want to continue blogging anywhere else. I have always liked it here at AOL J-Land I can't believe this is happening.

I might NOT be sharing anymore entries here because what would be the point ?? AOL J-Land will soon be gone. I have come to make friends and gotten to know a lot of you. This is an extremely sad time and I just think that this might be the last entry I put here.

Some News....And A New Taste In Chocolate

Good evening all !!!!!! I do have a bit of news for you. Today started another busy week of work for me. A really cute guy that didn't work at my job flirted with me today. It all began when he saw me wearing my Atlanta Falcons t-shirt. He told me that he liked it and he smiled at me the whole time. I told him that I didn't wear my shirt yesterday which is probably why they lost the game sadly enough. He laughed at what I said but he seemed to like flirting with me. I ended up forgetting to get his telephone number but I did like talking to him.

In other news I did get some good news from my doctor about my Ultrasound but I am sure I don't want to bore you with that news. It was good news however and I am glad to have gotten some good news from my tests.

I wanted to tell you that I stepped out of my usual taste in chocolate and I bought a little box of Lindt Excellence DARK Chocolate with Chili which I have NEVER tried before. I have NEVER eaten dark chocolate I usually eat milk chocolate and this was the first time I tried a new kind of chocolate and its pretty delicious. You can taste the fire of the chili pepper mixed in with the dark chocolate which makes it quite good. I really have to try more flavors of dark chocolate instead of just milk chocolate. An Afternoon Of Shopping....

Hello dear world

Good afternoon everyone !!!!! Well I know you will be totally surprised when you hear my news. A little while ago my youngest niece Megan and I and my father went to the dollar store to do some shopping. I know....me shopping who would have guessed ??

Yes I went shopping and I had fun shopping. I ended up getting some really cute stickers that I liked including some Halloween stickers that I liked. I also bought my youngest niece some stickers she wanted. I also got yet another book by a writer named Pamela Ditchoff. The title of the book is "Seven Days & Seven Sins" which I saw and decided to get. You might want to know that you can find it on Amazon I checked. From the inside cover I read that its a collection of short stories that are both unique and a delight to read. I will have to find some time to read the books I have bought.I have bought so many books that I don't know how I will ever get around to reading them all.

In other news the lines at the gas stations are still quite long and growing and growing. I don't know if things will change when it comes to the gas. A lot of gas stations are running out of gas.

Of course the stores are filling up on Halloween decorations and Christmas decorations and such. I love this time of year when you see Halloween decorations and Christmas decorations at the same time.

The weather here in Atlanta, Georgia is quite nice and warm not a raindrop in sight. At the moment my folks are watching Football. Its a day of sports and hanging out at the house.

Of course I have been off of work this weekend. I seem to have the weekends off which I like. Tomorrow I have go back into work and its supposed to be another busy busy week. How are things in your part of the world ? Did you all enjoy your weekend ??

A Trip Around The World....

Good evening everyone. I wanted to come and tell you about my Saturday. I have to say that it was a nice one. Our church St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church held an International Night.

The International Night was an event where people from all over the world flew in and brought in food from the countries in which they live. There were people from Jamaica, the Philippines, Ireland, Slovakia, Hungary, Cameroon, France, Togo, Sierra Leone, Poland, Holland, Panama, Liberia as well as Nigeria, Trinidad, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Haiti, Germany, Africa, Colombia, Italy, Guyana and Ghana. There was also music from all over the world. I saw a guy there from Scotland wearing a traditional Scottish kilt. It was fun taking a trip around the world and seeing people from places that I have always wanted to visit. My trip was fun and the food was good.

Before the night was over my oldest niece won a really huge basket from the Dutch country filled with chocolates, tea and wine. Our night was really fun and I have to say that it was fun learning about different parts of the world. I really enjoyed the Mariachi band and there were some Nigerian children there dancing. There were people there from Haiti doing a dance that symbolized where they live.

Notes From Friday....

Hello dear world

Good morning everyone !!!!!!! How are you all ? Well here I am again. I do have tons of news for you but where to begin ???

How about I start with some good news ? The results from my mom's liver biopsy is that the spot that was seen turned out to be a benign lesion. I'm glad that the results of her biopsy turned out good. She is getting better but she is still sore. I'm just glad that it wasn't cancer or anything.

Anywho...yesterday was another busy day at work for me. Earlier in the day my coworker C**M told me that she had saw Andrew  and that he had asked about me. Later in the day I saw Andrew and he was very happy to see me. I had NOT seen him in a couple of weeks. I was wondering where he was. He told me that he had been busy working. I wonder if I'll see him next week.

In other news I am still reading "TRIBUTE" by Nora Roberts. Yesterday I did go and buy some books called "New Moon" and "Breaking Dawn" by Stephenie Meyer. I have been wanting to read her books. A lot of people at work have been reading them and they told me that her books were pretty good. I'll have to finish TRIBUTE so I can start on Stephenie's books.

By the way I did watch the movie "CONSPIRACY" with Val Kilmer and I have to say that the movie was totally great. Val was quite wonderful in the movie. I totally think that he deserved an academy award for his work in the movie. I am glad that I rented it.

Some different women at my work told me that they liked my lipstick. Some other women were wondering if I was looking for a boyfriend or if I was going out after work since I had on my lipstick. I am thinking I will stick with the people who liked my lipstick and how it looked on me. I think that I will keep wearing it and I won't throw it away. Those people who don't like it well that's their opinion.

So how are things in yourneck of the woods ? I do hope that all is well. It is the weekend but so far I have NO plans for the weekend. Do you have any plans ? Keep me posted. That's about it for now. I'll talk to you again later.

A Personal Thought....

Good evening. How is everyone today ? I had to come by and share a thought with you that kind of hurt my feelings today. I hope you don't mind me sharing this note.

Anywho...yesterday at work I wore some red lipstick that my mom gave me from AVON. The lipstick was red but not a dark red just a soft shade of red. My mom and my oldest niece said that it looked nice on me. They said that it was a good color for me.

The thing is yesterday some people at my work said that I looked like a clown with the lipstick on. Someone else said that it made me look like my mouth was bleeding. I didn't have the lipstick with me at work today because I forgot it at home. I wish I would have had it at work with me today.

I laughed off the comments that were made to me but the comments that were made really hurt my feelings. My mom always said that if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all and that's how I felt yesterday and today. I was disappointed at the fact that people could say things like that to me without thinking.

Am I wrong my dear world ?? I really like the lipstick and I didn't feel like I looked like a clown with the lipstick on. I don't know if I should have said something to those who made a comment but I didn't. I was hurt by the comments and I felt that the comments were rather harsh. The people who made the comments were laughing as they made the comments as if the comments were funny. It made me feel bad as the comments were said.

I don't know my dear world perhaps I am overreacting to the situation or maybe I should just forget about the comments and act like nothing was said. I have always been nice to the people who made the comments and today they were mean to me and I felt like they were wrong. How should I handle such a situation my dear world ??

Am I in the wrong for feeling this way ??? Maybe its just me. I don't know how I should feel about the comments. Tomorrow I want to wear the lipstick to work but maybe I shouldn't since they don't seem to like it.

Could I be entirely wrong about this ???

News....And A Personal Medical Note

Good evening everyone. How is everyone today ? I hope you are all well. Of course today started another week at work for me. I did finish reading "HEARTBREAKER" which was a very good book. I started a new book by Nora Roberts called "TRIBUTE" . So far in the book there is a woman named Cilla McGowan and she has just met her neighbor Ford Sawyer and his dog Spock. I'll tell you more about it later.

On the more personal note

Today I had to go for an ultrasound at Kaiser. Apparently I have cyst's which is why I went for the ultrasound. I'll have to wait to see what my doctor says about the whole thing. If the cyst's have grown I'll probably have to have surgery to have them removed. It might turn out that the cyst's have NOT grown which I'm hoping. Getting an ultrasound is definitely NOT fun. I'll have to wait to see how things turn out but hopefully it all turns out fine I just don't know. I guess I will just have to wait and see.

I do have to add that my show "HOUSE" did NOT win an award. My favorite actors Hugh Laurie and Robert Sean Leonard did NOT win any awards. My other show "BONES" did NOT win any awards. My favorites David Boreanaz, Emily Deschanel and John Francis Daley did NOT win an award. What is going on ??? Come on people !!!!!!!!!! I am so NOT happy about this. Come on !!!!!!

Hello dear world

Good evening everyone. I wanted to come by and say hello. It was a rather quiet Sunday for me. I do have some news for you.

The movie "88 Minutes" with Al Pacino was quite good. I really liked Al in the movie and I thought he did a great job. It left you guessing until the very end which I liked. I am glad I rented it and I thought that Al was the best part of the movie.

I haven't seen the rest of the movies yet. I do have to go to work tomorrow but after work I have to go to the doctor for another ultrasound. Do not be alarmed I'm sure everything is fine. I will have to let you know how it goes.

By the way you might want to know that the Atlanta Falcons won the football game this evening which is great news. I am proud of the Atlanta Falcons. I will wear my Falcons t-shirt to work with me.

Dinner And Some Movies.....

Hello dear world

Good evening all !!!!!! Here I am again. I had a really nice and long Saturday. I just got home with my family from our day. Earlier today we were going to the theater since we had some tickets for a movie but the tickets aren't until the 27th of September. We decided to head to Longhorn Steakhouse for lunch which was quite good. My mom and I had the Outlaw Ribeye which was very very very very good. I had mine cooked medium well and she had hers cooked medium. She had her ribeye with a baked potato while I had mine with mashed potatoes which I loved. My dad had a ribeye with a lobster tail. My oldest niece had chicken fingers with fries and my youngest niece we had stopped off and got her McDonald's to bring to Longhorn's with us. Our dinner was quite good and I have to tell you that I love going to Longhorn's its always a good place to go eat.

After lunch we then headed to the mall and my oldest niece finally decided on a pair of tennis shoes she wanted and I only did some window shopping. My folks and I and my niece's walked the entire mall and it was quite busy there with people. Women were handing out those fragrance sample's on those little cards which made I hate. The entire fragrance department smelled like it was bathed in perfume and cologne. I did like window shopping at the different stores but I didn't feel like buying anything. I went to the candy store but they didn't have the candy I wanted which I wasn't happy about.

The best part of my day was going to Blockbuster Video where I picked up some movie's I wanted. I ended up getting 88 Minutes with Al Pacino who I love to watch and I also got a movie called Conspiracy with Val Kilmer. My youngest niece got her some movies she wanted including The Nightmare Before Christmas and a few other movies . My oldest niece also got her a movie called Baby Mama .

All in all our Saturday was a nice one. How was your day my dear world ? I do hope that all is well in your part of the world. Its kind of late here in Atlanta, Georgia. The Best Day....

Good evening everyone !!!!!! As you might be wondering I had a very very very very very wonderful Sunday.

My day began with a trip to a place called Moe's where my folks and I and my niece's went to eat. I ordered a Triple Lindy burrito with black beans, rice, lettuce, sour cream which was very good. We had NOT been to Moe's in a while. The food is always good and the burrito was huggggggggge to say the least and I enjoyed it. My folks had a different burrito and my youngest niece had a hamburger from Wendy's and my oldest niece had a different burrito from Moe's. We had a really nice lunch at Moe's. After lunch we took a ride over to the Sports Authority where I ended up buying an Atlanta Falcons t-shirt for my mom and I and I also purchased a orange Nike shirt for myself as well.

After the Sports Authority we went to TJMaxx where my oldest niece wanted a cute purse she liked so I bought it for her. I didn't buy anything there but it was fun looking around the store at all of the things in the store.

After TJMaxx we then took a ride to my favorite store of all.....Barnes & Noble. I had a fun time going to the bookstore. I looked at several books I wanted and I got myself a few books titled "Keeping Faith" by the writer Jodi Picoult and "The Canterbury Tales" by Geoffrey Chaucer and "Listen To Your Heart" by Fern Michaels and the book "Irresistible" by Susan Mallery. I also bought myself a really nice bookmark that I liked. They have a ton of books at Barnes & Noble. I also bought my youngest niece some books she wanted including one on Gemstones since she likes Gems and rocks and things. I also bought my oldest niece a Cliffs Notes books on the play Macbeth. After purchasing some books my mom and I and my oldest niece went to the Starbucks in the bookstore where I bought myself a coffee frappucchino and my mom got a dry coffee cappucchino she wanted and my oldest niece got a bottled water. My frappucchino was quite delicious and I enjoyed it. I used a gift cardI had gotten from my aunt to purchase the books and I used my Barnes & Noble member's card to purchase the books and the coffe drinks for my mom and I. I have to say that I love love love love love love love going to Barnes & Noble bookstore its always fun going there and getting some books I have NOT read before.

It's Friday !!!!!!!!

Good evening everyone !!!!!! How is everyone today ? I hope you are all well. It is Friday and the weekend is officially here. I do have some news for you all.

You might want to know that for lunch with two of my coworker's F****S and C**M we ended up going to lunch at a place called Po' Folks I can tell you that my lunch was quite good. I had some catfish fillets which were quite good. The mashed potatoes were quite good as well. The cornbread dressing I had was also quite good. It was nice going there to eat for lunch. It was my very first time going there. I really liked the place and the food was pretty delicious. I can't wait to go back there to eat. In other news I have to say that I liked reading "WHITE LIES" it was a very good book. I must tell you that I did move on. I am now on the next book. I thought since its coming up to election time I would choose a book centered around politics. I started a book called "Sammy's Hill" by the writer Kristin Gore.

Sammy's Hill is about a woman named Sammy Joyce a twenty-six-year-old political analyst who lands a job on Capitol Hill in which she is hired by a rising Democratic senator. Sammy finally has the opportunity to make a difference in the world but as devoted as she is to her work , she soon discovers that trying to change the world leaves little time for romance. She then meets Aaron Driver who is a handsome speechwriter for a rival senator whom Sammy doesn't like. Just A Little News....

Hello dear world

Good evening !!!!!!!! Here I am again. Well it was another day at work for me and it was a very very very busy day. I did finish reading "The MacGregor Brides" and I have to say that it was a very good book. I started reading a new book as of today called "WHITE LIES" by the writer Jayne Ann Krentz and I have to say that its a terrific and interesting book. I highly recommend this one for a book to read. If you have any books you would like to point out to me please do let me know.

I have been keeping up with the political campaign's going on between both candidates and I have to say that its a lot to take in. I will have to learn some more information about Sarah Palin I don't know much about her. I haven't made up my mind yet about any of the candidates its just a lot to decide on. I still have some thinking to do on this.

I am excited to report that my favorite show "BONES" is back on fox. I have to say that I am still a huge huge huge fan of the show.

The weather in my neck of the woods has been quite pleasant. How are things with you my dear world ??? I hope all is well in your part of the world ?? Do you have any news for me ?

Some News....

Hello dear world

Good morning all !!!!!! Here I am again. Its the weekend of course. It was quite the busy week for me at work at the H.R. Banke Justice Center but I am beginning my weekend.

You might want to know that I finished reading "On Mystic Lake" .The book was quite good. Annie did return to Blake but it did NOT work out. She did try to make it work with Blake. She had found out that she was pregnant with Blake's baby but the marriage between them did NOT work. She did take her newborn baby with her as she decides to go back to Nick Delacroix and Izzy. I am glad that it ended the way it did. I think that Nick was far better for Annie than Blake was. On Mystic Lake was well worth reading.

I am now started on a book that I got at CVS called "The MacGregor Brides" by Nora Roberts. The story is about three women Julia, Gwen and Laura. They share a house in Boston and they are quite happily single, a fact that doesn't make the family patriarch happy. Grandfather daniel MacGregor won't rest easy until his Julia, Gwen and Laura are safely wed and hopefully producing the next generation.

I just started reading it and I have to say that its pretty good and its quite interesting. I do like to read books and its always fun to find a book that I like.

I did find a candle at CVS which is a mocha candle and it smells good. It was originally $7.99 and I got it on sale for $2.00 which I thought was a good price. I also bought a pink folder for my oldest niece. I also bought another book called "If There Be Dragons" by Kay Hooper.

So my dear world how are you my dear world ?? How are things in your neck of the woods. I do hope that all is well. The weather in my part of the world has been nice and it hasn't been too hot. It is a beautiful morning in Atlanta, Georgia and my family and I are doing fine.

Happy Labor Day

Good evening !!!!!! I hope you are all enjoying your Labor Day weekend. Today my mom came back after being out at a store and she bought me some books. I started reading one of my books which is titled "On Mystic Lake" by the writer Kristin Hannah. So far the book has started out with a woman named Annie Colwater who is married to a man named Blake Colwater and he has told her that he is cheating on her with a younger woman and he wants a divorce from his wife. The thing is he told her in a very mean way and he is a very terrible horrible guy in that he is cheating on his wife with a woman that he works with. I have to say that I really really really hate the guy in the book.

Have you ever read a book my dear world where you just couldn't stand one of the people in the book ? I will have to continue reading it to let you know how it goes but the guy in this book makes it hard to read it because I just find him irritating and digusting. I do like the woman Annie she is a really good person and they do have an older daughter who went away for specific reason's but Annie didn't see it coming that her husband was cheating on her. News For Friday...

Hello dear world

Good evening everyone its Friday. How are you today ?? I have a bit of news for you. First things first...it was a pretty warm day today in Atlanta, Georgia and the rain from Hurricane Fay has passed.

Of course last night I watched the Democratic National Convention on television. I watched Barack Obama's acceptance speech and I have to say that I think that he did a great job. I think that he made a very outstanding speech. I don't know how you feel my dear world but perhaps Barack will make a great president he seems to be doing a great job so far with his speech's and talking in front of the entire world. I don't know my dear world what do you think ??? I will have to see McCain and the debate's before I fully make a decision. Is it okay for me to speak about politics ???

Anywho....it was another day at work for me. The lady that had started with us a while back has been trying to create problems with my coworker's and I and my old supervisor since my other supervisor had to be placed at another building where he was needed to make changes there. My coworker's and I recently have had to take care of her work and then she had to come with us for the rest of the day so we could get finished with our work since she has been calling to the head boss and complaining about what work she can't do and what she doesn't like to do. She doesn't seem to like us since she complained she didn't want to sit with us on the break time but we didn't ask her to sit with us because she doesn't try to be friendly with us. I don't know my dear world what it is but she just seems to want to create problems in our department.

The worst news of all is that yesterday Clayton County schools lost their accreditation due to the problems of the school board which were asked to resign but they declined. Recently the school's lost their accreditation which was a decision reached. The school is going to appeal the decision since this will affect the student's such as my oldest niece who will soon be affected since she will graduate as a senior in the coming month's. I think that its sad that this had to happen and that the student's will be affected in this way. I hope that things get better soon.

Yes the embarrassing moment I had is still lingering with me. The embarrassing moment was partly my fault since I opened my mouth and admitted something about a certain someone that I liked and it got out to one of the women at my work that I didn't think would be told to her but of course it was. Anywho...I won't be quite so honest the next time around. I have to remember that embarrassing moments happen but I am still embarrassed about it.

There is a show called "Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader" on television ---> http://www.fox.com/areyousmarter/ and Regis was on the show and he was asked questions that he did NOT know and guess what my mom asked me the questions and I knew the answers to the questions. The question was asked : Who wrote the poem "The Road Less Travelled" and Regis did NOT know who the poet was and me I knew the answers to a lot of the questions that Regis did NOT know. I am proud to say that I am smarter than a 5th grader. The answer of course was the poet Mr. Robert Frost. Am I good or what ???

News...And A Birthday

Good evening all !!!!!! You have probably been wondering where I've been. Well I have been around at work and at home. Anywho...Hurricane Fay in Florida seems to have passed through our neck of the woods.

We got quite a bit of wind in our neighborhood and today it rained quite a bit. Earlier today my family and I went to Chuck 'E'Cheese Pizza. My dad wanted to go there to celebrate his birthday. My dad turned 61 years old. My niece's and I played games and I gave them some of my tokens and I also gave them my tickets that I won from playing some games. I got on a ride with my niece's that simulates being on a actual roller coaster which was fun. There were quite a lot of babies and some kids there with their families. It was quite busy there. We had some Italian sub sandwiches and pizza which was good.

How was your weekend my dear world ?? I do hope that you had a nice weekend. I have to recommend a movie for you that you must see. Some Shopping...And A Bad Restaurant Review

Good evening everyone !!!!! How are you today ? I hope that you all had a pleasant Sunday.

Earlier this morning my folks and I and my niece's went to eat at a place called "Luella's" and I hate to say it but I have to give them a bad restaurant review. I and my mom and my oldest niece agreed with me. I in the end gave them a D for both their food and their dessert. I ended up having a breakfast plate and I tried their dessert which I have to say wasn't good. They claimed to have a taste of Creole cooking which they didn't of course. The breakfast plate I had wasn't good and I have to say that my mom and my oldest niece said that we won't be going back.

After the restaurant we took a ride over to TJMaxx where I did some shopping. I ended up getting a Halloween skeleton bride and groom music box which has bats which when you turn it upside down the bats glide around the music box and it plays a Halloween sort of music which I instantly liked. I also got a Halloween figurine I liked. I always have liked weird things I don't really know why. I also bought some coffee I saw.

After TJMaxx we went to Walmart where I bought my baby catfish some food and a purple tank top my oldest niece wanted. We then went home and changed our tank since the one our catfish was in had a leak in and we got some new marbles to put in a new tank we had already at the tank. Our catfish was none too happy with us for taking him out and fooling with him.

All in all we had a really nice Sunday. How was your day my dear world ? I do hope that all is well with you. Of course tomorrow is back to work for me. That's about it for now. I'll talk to you again soon.

Good morning !!!!!!!!! Its a beautiful day in Atlanta, Georgia. I have to say that last night for my mom and my niece's was amazing !!!!!!!!! My dad stayed home and we went out. We went to Tinseltown to see "The Dark Knight" at 8:05 and I treated my mom and my niece's to the show. I bought the tickets, the popcorn, the soda's and the candy for my oldest niece and I. My youngest niece had a movie meal bucket of popcorn which she liked.

Once we got in the movie we watched preview's of movie's to come and then the movie started. I have to say that Christian Bale was great in the movie, so was Aaron Eckhart. Christian Bale is a nice looking guy and I am glad they picked him to be Batman. I did think that Heath Ledger was not all that great as the joker. I really think that he was not great as the joker. I think that the actress who played Rachel Dawson was alright but I think that they could have picked someone else. But I did really enjoy the movie I can't wait until the next one. The movie was a little long but it was well worth watching. My mom and my niece's liked the movie as well and we are planning to go back to Tinseltown to see the new "Mummy" movie with Brendan Fraser.

A Wonderful Day......

Good evening everyone !!!!!!! How are all of you ? I am happy to report that I am feeling much much much much better. Today was another day at work for me. All of the guys at work seemed to really enjoy me throughout the day. All of the guys talked to me and they joked around with me and I have to say that I must be doing something right.

Before I was to get off I was up front at work and who did I see ??? Andrew of course. I saw him and I said hello to him and I ended up walking over to him and he hugged me he actually hugged me and he wished me a good weekend.

Of course before I got off work my oldest niece called me at my work and told me that we were going to Tinseltown to see the movie "The Dark Knight" which I have to say that I can't wait to see it. I can't wait to see Christian Bale and the whole entire movie I am sure it will be fun.

I'm Feeling A Little.....Blah

How is everyone ? I'm sorry I haven't come by lately to talk to you but I have been feeling a little....blah.

Its been a week of work for me and everything. I have nothing to complain about at work. The reason for my not feeling so good is that I am feeling a little sorry for myself I hate to say. I have been trying to be somewhat flirty with guys....smiling, saying hello, asking them how they are and what happens ???? Nothing !!!!!! Absolutely Nothing !!!!!!! Guys just basically say hello and walk away. I just don't get it.

With the guys at work I try to act cute but its like I still nothing. I start acting silly or just making ordinary conversation about nothing so as to put up an act of I don't care. It seems like guys are just NOT interested in me in the least. Am I doing something wrong ?????

I'm sorry for coming to you with this dear world but I am just trying to explain my absence from you and to explain how I have been feeling lately.

My Sunday....

Good evening everyone. Its me again as usual. Well it was a nice Sunday for me. Today I went out to Walmart and I did some shopping. I got a Focaccia pizza by Stouffer's which was quite good. It had roasted green and red pepper's on a flat crust bread which was very good. It also had pepperoni on it and it had herbs and spices on it which made it that much better. For dinner my mom had got some items to put in the Gumbo she made for dinner. Did I tell you my mother makes the best cajun Gumbo ever. She puts shrimp, oysters, ham, italian sausage, chicken and cut up Crab in her gumbo and it was delicious to say the least. I love her Gumbo more than anything.

I also bought my niece's a few more school supplies. We got home from Walmart and I put the Focaccia pizza in the oven and it was wonderful to eat as a lunch snack. I did watch more of the Olympics in Beijing which has been quite interesting to watch. I have gotten into watching the Olympics have you ??

By the way how was your day my dear world ? How are things in your neck of the woods ? I do hope that you had a really nice Sunday. Tomorrow is back to work for me of course. That's it for now I'll talk to you later.

Some Thoughts....

Good evening. Well here I am again. How has your weekend been ?

First I have to say that Friday at work I had NOT seen Andrew because he later in the afternoon he saw me in the hallway and told me that he had been working in the building. First he told me that it was nice seeing me again since he had NOT seen me in a while. I was thinking that he had stopped working at our job entirely but happily I was wrong. It was nice seeing him on Friday and I didn't expect him to say that it was nice seeing me again. I hope that I will get to see him more next week at work.

Anywho....this morning my folks and I and my niece's watched the opening ceremony of the Olympics in Beijing since my mom had taped it. The opening ceremony was beyond amazing. The whole ceremony was beautiful I wish I could have been there to see it up close. I have always wanted to take a trip to China but I have NEVER got a chance to go there. The costumes and the performances and the whole art that was put together for the opening ceremony was something to watch.

News For Today....

Good evening all !!!!!!! How is everyone today ?? Its me again and I have some news for you. First things first...it was quite a hot steamy day in Atlanta, Georgia. Its been hot for a couple of days now and I am beginning to long for the upcoming Fall season. I can't wait until the crisp breeze of October.

It was quite a day for me at work. Everybody was giving me compliments today on my hair. Today I wore my hair down which is usually kept up while I am at work. The reason I wore it down is because I had washed it late last night and I didn't get a chance to fully dry it so I decided to wear it down to let it dry. My dear world most of the people told me that they liked my hair down and that it made me look younger. I don't know someone giving me a compliment was nice but when it comes to saying thank you it becomes like a stun gun to the brain and I am never sure of what to say. Some of the people acted like it was a surprise that I had wore it down. Some of the others acted like they couldn't recognize me and it was like they had never seen me before until today. Don't get me wrong compliments are nice but what else can you say but thank you ??? Maybe I'm wrong what do you think ??

Anywho....recently we had an election in my county and you might want to know that Victor Hill will NO longer be the sheriff of my our county. He will be sheriff until January. The guy who won the election is named Kem Kimbrough ----> http://www.kemforsheriff.com/ . He won the election and of course he will have to run against a republican candidate in our county but he did win the election thus far.

Of course it was the first day back to school for my niece's and they will be back to school tomorrow for another day. Its that time for pencils, notebooks, erasers and homework for them.

Dear World...I Have Such News

Hello dear world

How is everyone ? I have such news to report that I don't know where to start. Where to start ?? Where to start ?? Yesterday I returned to work after being on vacation with my family and low and behold I found out that my supervisor Jesse was transferred to another building and I didn't get to tell him good-bye.

I have to say that my supervisor Jesse was a pretty cool supervisor. He treated my coworker's and I with a lot of respect and he did keep us all laughing even through the rough times when people complained that we weren't doing anything. I did like him and I feel that he did a great job as a supervisor.

Our old supervisor K----N is back as our supervisor once more. We'll have to see how things go. I really wish I could talk to Jesse and let him know how I felt about him. Apparently our newest coworker that recently started a while back J----E is feeling that my coworker's and I don't like her and she is trying to start trouble with us with our head boss and things are getting said and turned around and things are turning into a mess. I don't know what will happen next my dear world. Our head boss is talking about seperating my coworker's and I which I hope doesn't happen because we are already low when it comes to help around our building and we are trying our best to get things done.

In other news...pretty soon my niece's will be starting school pretty soon. My niece Megan will be going to the 3rd grade and my other neice Jeanette will be a senior in high school. They are getting older and getting taller and pretty soon my niece Megan will be a teenager as well. They are sure growing up fast.

I do hate to say it but the book I read recently "Nights In Rodanthe"  by Nicholas Sparks ended quite sadly. I do hate sad endings. I wish the book would have ended differently. Many of Nicholas Spark's other books "The Notebook" , "Message In A Bottle" , "A Walk To Remember" all ended sadly.  I do wish Nicholas Sparks could write books with happier endings in my opinion.

Anywho...I had a really great conversation with a guy at work today early this morning. The guy he is so wonderfully nice and charming and nice looking and I am sad to say NOT available. I can't seem to find one guy that is single and with all of the qualities that I like in a guy why is that ???

Me And My Family Have Returned.....

Hello dear world

Good evening everyone !!!!! I'm sorry that I haven't been around lately but my family and I just returned from another camping trip at Tallulah Gorge State Park.

We left for our camping trip on Tuesday morning. We got everything packed and we headed for Denny's to eat. We arrived at Tallulah Gorge State Park and we set up at campsite #10 where we camped at before when we camped at Tallulah a while back. We set up camp and then we went driving around town to see what we could see. On our first day at camp it was extremely hot.

We ended up at Chick-Fil-A to eat and then we headed to Walmart to do some shopping. We got back to camp after shopping and went and took our shower's. The water at our camp shower was quite hot and I enjoyed taking my shower at the camp shower in the park. I couldn't wait until the very next day.

On Wednesday it was another great day. Earlier in the day my family and I went to the beach which was quite nice. While we were there we happened to see a rainbow in the clouds which nobody but me and my family saw at the time. We took a picture of it on my camera.

After the beach we got back to camp and we took our shower's. The water once again was nice and hot and it was a joy. We then decided to go out for dinner but the place we wanted to go to was closed for business permanently so we ended up going to a Mexican restaurant for dinner. We ended up going to a place called "La Cabana" which wasn't all that good.

After eating we went to Walmart once again. I bought my niece's each a movie they wanted. I also got myself some movies I wanted including "Blood & Chocolate" and the double feature "Rocky and Rocky II". I also got a book called "Body Language" and some stickers I wanted.

Once we got back to camp my father built a campfire. We ended up sitting outside at our campsite and enjoyed the nice cool evening. We had decided that we were going to go to a hotel since we left our pop-up and stuff at the campsite. My folks wanted to go to Harrah's Casino while my niece's would play at the arcade.

The very next day we drove up into the mountains of North Carolina. Harrah's Casino was right nearby. We stayed in room 103 at the Days Inn. Earlier in the day my folks and I went to Harrah's Casino. I actually played some of the machines. I'm not any good at the machines but I enjoyed going to the candy shop inside of Harrah's where me and my mom bought some chocolate's which were pretty delicious. My niece's also had fun at the arcade.

For dinner we went to a place called "Bob Big Boy's" which was quite good. We had NOT been there since we had lived in California. When we first got to the Days Inn I did get changed and I got in the pool at the hotel. While we were eating at Bob Big Boy's I got a really good hot fudge cake which I really really liked.

The next morning my family and I left the Days Inn. We then drove to a place called the "Gold City Gem Mine". For the very first time I panned for Gold which wasn't all that fun. I did end up Gem Mining later on which I really liked. My niece's did NOT do any Gem Mining. The best part was when the guy who worked there showed me the difference between a good rock from a bad rock. I actually found doing Gem Mining an emerald, some rubies and some sapphires which haven't been cut. He told me that I was a very quick learner. It took quite a while to do Gem Mining but it was quite fun and interesting.

After the mining we went to eat at a place called "The Dillard House". At the restaurant they don't have menu's because its considered fine dining. Its like stepping back in time to when the Rockefeller's lived. The food to me wasn't all that good but my folks liked it. They did have a really good vanilla ice cream which had a whipped topping gelato type of texture which made it quite good.

Once we finished eating we got back to camp. My mom stayed at camp while my dad and I and my niece's went to the Jane Hurt Yarn Interpretive Center. We walked some of the gorge. We got to a place called "the Overlook" which was quite amazing because of the view of the gorge.

A little while later we went to the beach since it was quite hot during the day. The beach was quite nice. We went back to camp a few hours later and my father made a campfire which was nice and warm. My folks fixed the leftovers from The Dillard House while I had a hot dog. Before going to bed I watched some of my movie "Blood & Chocolate" which was wonderful.

Today was the day that we had to leave Tallulah Gorge State Park. We got home a little before 4:00pm. We packed up the camper, the little tent we put stuff in and the car and we left Tallulah Gorge State Park for the very last time. It was extremely hot while we were packing up. On the way home we stopped off at McDonald's for a quick lunch and then we got back on the road and we got home.

Our trip was quite memorable and we all had fun. We are planning to go somewhere new on our next camping trip which I am excited about. Its always hard when a trip ends but its nice coming home again with lots of memories.

Some Random Thoughts For You....

Good evening. I wanted to come by and share just a few thoughts with you. Its getting rather late here in my neck of the woods.

You will be happy to know that my mother is getting better. My nieces and my father and I are doing well. I read a good book called "A Soldier For Christmas" by the writer Jillian Hart which was a really good book. I had some bowtie pasta with a white alfredo sauce with shrimp for dinner with broccoli which was good. Of course tomorrow I will be going back to work. The weather was nice today and the rain seems to be gone.

All in all things are good. How was your day dear world ? I hope that you had a really nice Sunday. I will talk to you again later.

Some Wonderful Wonderful Wonderful News....

Hello dear world

Good evening everyone !!!!!!!!!! Let me begin by saying that I am truly truly truly truly happy happy today. Earlier today my dad and I and my nieces went down to Piedmont Hospital to see my mom.

The good news is that she got to come home today with us. She is getting better and I am glad that she is out of the hospital. The doctor gave her some medicine that she has to take of course. While we were there my nieces and I went down to the cafeteria to get something to eat. I had a hot dog and my nieces each had some french fries. I had some of my youngest niece's french fries and I can tell you that they have some of the best french fries in town.

Anywho....we went back to the room and the nurse came and took out her IV and got her ready to go home. She was given some prescription for some medicine and another nurse brought her a wheelchair and we got home. It did start to rain on the way but I didn't mind the rain today.

On the way to the hospital however the expressway was a mess. Three of the lanes were closed off due to some road work being done. We did get there and we were happy to find out that my mom could go home. Today was a most wonderful day. Its so very nice having my mom home again and you know what she missed......me making her coffee.

Quite A Day....

Hello dear world

Good evening everyone. How are you all ?? I just got home a few minutes ago from my aunt and uncle's house and I will explain why later in my news.

Anywho...it was another day at work for me and I am happy to report that the charges were dropped completely against the police officers which I think is great news. The police officers were doing their jobs and they were doing their duty as police officers so it was good that the charges against them were dropped.

While I was at work apparently my mom was NOT feeling well so my dad took my mom to Piedmont Hospital with my nieces. Apparently her blood pressure was sky high and they did some tests on her.

I rode home with a coworker and when I got home my uncle was waiting on me while my dad was still with my mom at the hospital. I ended up going to the Senior Center with my uncle Tony and my aunt. You will be quite proud of me my dear world since the people who worked there seemed to really like me. I ended up working there serving a late dinner to the senior's there and then I helped to clean up the area without being asked. I was just a visitor there and I practically became an employee there without getting paid. The worker's appreciated the fact that I helped without being told. They told my aunt and uncle that they could bring me back anytime which was nice to hear.

My mom is still at the hospital since she was admitted and my dad said that before he left they had given my mom some pain medication. Hopefully she will be doing better tomorrow. I'm sure that my mom would be proud of the fact that I helped at the senior center while she was in the hospital.

I do have to work again tomorrow so I won't be able to go and visit her in the hospital but my dad will be taking off of work to be with her. I hope that she is able to come home tomorrow but you never know.

Some News....

Hello dear world

Good evening everyone !!!!!! Your probably wondering where have you been lately ??? Well my dear world I have been around and doing fine. I have been working and keeping busy. My boss has been on vacation this week and we have all been good while he's away.

Anywho...its been pretty hot here in my neck of the woods. Its been like a 1000 degrees lately. It wasn't too bad today which was nice. While I was at work there were a ton of police officers at my work. There is a case that is supposed to go to the grand jury. The case involves two police officers who might or might not be indicted for murder because they were trying to stop a guy from running over a fellow officer. I hope that the police officer's are NOT indicted since they were doing their job and trying to help out a fellow police officer who was being hurt. I didn't hear if the case was going to be turned over to the grand jury or NOT but hopefully it won't but you never know.

Of course today I saw Andrew and we chatted for a few minutes this morning at work. He even joked around with me as we were chatting. Its always nice to talk to him and yes I still think that he's a pretty nice looking guy. There is this other guy at work named K---H and I really do like him. I talked to K---H this afternoon and I have to say that he is a pretty charming guy. I try to take the time even if I'm busy to stop and talk to him. I'm just saying my dear world.

Feeling Better....And I Did Some Shopping

Good evening everyone. I am sorry for not being around but I was still pretty upset about the election. I had been staying around the house not wanting to go out because of how I was feeling but I am feeling better today.

You will be happy to know that I went out today with my family to the JCPenney outlet store but I didn't find anything I wanted however it was fun to get out and just look around the store.

After the outlet store we took a ride over to Walmart where I did do some shopping. I bought some school supplies for my nieces and I bought myself some of my favorite Ben & Jerry's ice cream and some stickers for my youngest niece. I did buy myself a cute shirt that I liked and I also looked around the store and I bought myself some other stuff at the store.

Yes my dear world I had a nice day today and I did get out of the house which I have NOT done in a while except for going to work.

So my dear world how was your day ??? I do hope that all is well with you. Yes I am doing well today and I am feeling better these days. I am still a little upset about the election still but I am working on overcoming my feelings on that.

A Little Disappointing.....

Hello dear world

Good evening all. I have a little sad news to report about the election. My uncle Tony Antoine lost the election which I have to say that I was upset about.

Yesterday my dad and I went over to one of the polling places and we held up signs and we campaigned for him while we wore our t-shirts with his name on them while my mom and my oldest niece took my youngest niece to her swim lessons.

Today I was really upset about the news but my uncle and my aunt dropped by the house a little earlier after I got home from work. He is okay about the election he said that he will NOT be running again for any position. I must say that I was rather proud of him for running. I am quite disappointed in the voters of my neighborhood and they say that their was a low turn out of voters at the polls. I did vote for my uncle but the news was still disappointing that he did NOT win. I wish things would have turned out differently. The other people who got elected I feel did NOT deserve their wins because they have NOT done good in my neck of the woods the first time around.

I guess I shouldn't dwell on the election and just realize that things happen and sometimes politics is a hard thing. I did enjoy campaigning for my uncle and I hope that things in my part of the woods will get better.

In other news earlier tonight I watched the movie "No Reservations" with Catherine Zeta Jones and I have to say that its a bad idea to I watch a movie about food on a empty stomach. Just A Note.....

Good evening how is everyone ? I am doing fine. You might want to know that I did NOT go to the barbecue this afternoon. My family came back early and they said that it wasn't fun. They said they had decided not to stay long at the barbecue.

I did watch the movie "27 Dresses" yesterday which was a good movie. I stayed home and just hung out. I don't have any plans tomorrow but you never know.

Good evening everyone !!!!!! Its officially Friday. It was another day at work for me and yes it was a little bit of a busy day for me but not too bad.

Today I saw Andrew as I was walking by at work and he made a point to stop me and say hello and to ask me how I was doing. I stopped and said hello to him and asked him how he was doing in return. I do like talking to him and he has such an amazing smile. I just had to share that little note with you.

My folks are going to a barbecue tomorrow but I don't really know the people at the barbecue so I was thinking of not going. I just don't feel like going tomorrow.

Some News....

Hello dear world

Good evening !!!!!! Its me again. Its been raining recently in my neck of the woods. Of course I have been working all this week and I am through with Inmate Training. The Deputy Warden taught us in our final class. I learned a lot and I am glad I took the class.

Anywho....yesterday about 11pm there was a guy who works in Law Enforcement in the Special Operations Unit and he was waiting for the elevator. He and I talked for a few minutes he said hello to me and I replied in return. We then joked around with each other before getting on the elevator. The silly thing is...I didn't ask him his name. I always seem to do that. He had a great sense of humor and an amazing smile I doubt that I will see him again because that was my first time seeing him.

In other news yesterday my folks and I went over to the Senior Center near the house to go vote early. My dad had already went to vote somewhere else so my mom and I went in to vote. Yes, I voted for my Uncle Tony for the position of Superior Court Clerk that he is running for. I hope he wins I think that he will do a great job.

After we went to vote we went over to Blockbuster to take back some movies we had rented previously. We did end up renting some more movies of course. My mom picked up a movie called "The Air I Breathe" . I hate to say it but at first I thought that it was NOT going to be good but I was wayyyy WRONG. The movie turned out to be quite GOOD. I think that the best part of the movie was the actor Brendan Fraser who was quite wonderful and Andy Garcia was also quite good in the movie. My folks also liked the movie and I can say that I higly recommend it.

Anywho...today was another day at work for me. I was down at the employee entrance where I saw Andrew and the best part was he and I started talking. He was the one that started the conversation and it was a very great conversation that we had. It was so nice talking to him. He talked to me and he asked me questions and he asked me what I was doing for the weekend which I told him. I told him that I am going to a barbecue Saturday which I don't really know anyone. Its some people that my folks know so I told Andrew that I wasn't sure if I wanted to go. He then said that he hopes that I have fun over the weekend. He is a really nice guy and he definitely has a great smile. I really enjoyed talking to him and I did make sure to tell him to have a great evening as I was leaving work which he said the same to me as he waved to me. Before we started talking he did say that it was nice seeing me again since I hadn't seen him this week until now. I have to say that I still like him and I am glad that we talked today. My dear world I still think that Andrew is a pretty great guy. Maybe its okay that he and I talk he doesn't see a problem with it. He wouldn't talk to me if he didn't want to right ???

I Am Officially A Very Silly Person......

Hello dear world

Good evening everyone once more to you all !!!!!!!! My dear world you will laugh as you read this and even I have to laugh at myself today.

I totally overreacted today about going to the Clayton County Prison near my work. I went with one of the guys from my department and I totally thought that it was going to be this terrible horrible experience which it wasn't. Our teacher was a guy named Cpt. Holsey and he was a really nice teacher. I didn't do so well on the GCIC test that we had to take but he said that it was alright he just wanted to see what we knew. The Inmate Training class we had from 10:00am to 4:00pm today was quite informative and I sure learned quite a lot and I have to say that you all and my mom was very right. Sometimes you have to go into life and sample different things and different experiences. I sure feel like a huge dork after all the complaining and whining I did about how I thought going to the Prison was going to be like. It was totally different than how I thought it was going to be. It was a learning experience and I made it into this big huge deal than what it was.

Anywho......I do have to go back tomorrow for the last class at 8:00am - 11:30am which I am sure will be a learning experience as well. Who knows maybe one day I will have to work with Inmates and I might be really good at working with them. I dressed in my pink shirt with my light brown slacks with my matching necklace and my earrings and matching bracelet and I did look nice at the prison. I always make a big deal out of things and I am learning that its silly to blow things out of poportion. We did find things to laugh at and we enjoyed the class. There was a nice looking guy there named DEAN but he complained a lot about having to go back to work after class.

I am learning my dear world....I am learning. So how was your day ??? I do hope that you had a nice Monday. It was a nice warm day in Georgia and it was a nice day overall.

Some News....Yes I Went Shopping

Hello dear world

Good evening everyone !!!!!! How are you all ? I am doing well. A little while ago my folks and I and my nieces went shopping at our favorite store called Kohl's where I did quite a bit of shopping which I must say is a little exhausting. You will be happy to know that I bought a nice pink dress shirt with white stripes with a matching pink necklace some earrings and a matching pink bracelet that I bought today since I have to go to the Prison tomorrow. I also bought a nice black dress shirt and a white dress shirt with colorful flowers on it that I will have to decide on wearing on Tuesday in which I also have to go to the Prison for Inmate Training. My pink outfit will be quite cute tomorrow and I am hoping that I will look nice in.

While I was also at Kohl's I also bought my oldest niece Jeanette an IPOD portable music system that she really liked as a birthday gift since tomorrow is her 17th birthday. I can't believe that she will be 17 tomorrow and she is becoming more and more beautiful every day. I also bought her a ring that she liked which I am more than happy to put a smile on her face everytime. I also bought my dad a cap he wanted.

After shopping we took my niece to O'Charley's for dinner for her birthday which is always good. I ended up getting the cedar planked Tilapia with smashed potato's and a side of clam chowder which I gave to my mom since she likes clam chowder soup. My oldest niece got a free caramel pie since it was her birthday which we all liked.

I have to tell you that today was a really enjoyable day of course earlier this morning the sky opened up and it rained buckets and buckets but it ended a little while later and we did go out to shop. Of course I spent quite a bit of money today but it was well worth it.

While I was out at Kohl's by the way after seeing Nicholas Cage in "National Treasure 2" I ended up buying the movie "It Could Happen To You" which is one of my favorite movies. Lately I am getting into Nicholas Cage and I can't wait to see "It Could Happen To You" once again.

A Wonderful 4th Of July......

Hello dear world

Good evening !!!!!!! I wanted to come by and tell you that I had a wonderful 4th of July yesterday. Our day began rather unfun. My folks and I and my niece's went over to IHOP to eat which I hate to say was NOT good. No one came over to see us or just to bring us a glass of water and the waiter's and the waitress's were in the same room we were in. We had decided to get up and leave. My mom made sure to tell them that we were NOT happy with how we were treated.

We left IHOP and we went for breakfast at Denny's nearby which was good. I did treat for breakfast and after we ate we took a ride over to Walmart to do some shopping. I did get some more fireworks for a little celebration we had at the house. A friend of my oldest niece Jeanette met us at Walmart and she came home with us. We had a little cook out at the house followed by fireworks that we enjoyed later in the evening.

Before we went to eat however my uncle Tony and my aunt dropped over to the house to see us for a few minutes. Later in the evening my mom and I watched the movie "National Treasure 2" which was a really great movie and I have to say that Nicholas Cage did a very wonderful job in the movie and he was definitely worth watching. I really liked the movie. My dad also liked the movie as well.

I hoped that the 4th was really nice for the troops in Iraq and I am hoping that they can come home soon.

Anywho......today my folks and I and my niece's and Jeanette's friend Dayja went to Southlake Mall to do some shopping. I didn't buy anything but I did some window shopping which is always fun. My dad bought a shirt and my youngest niece got a new backpack with wheels on it which she liked.

I can tell you that at the mall there is a place called "Auntie Anne's" which have the best pretzels in town. I got me a sour cream and onion pretzel and it was nice and hot from the oven and it was quite good. They also have a pretzel wrapped around a hot dog that my dad had and it sure looked good. Going to Southlake Mall is always fun and we enjoy it.

Later on we left the mall and we came home and my folks fixed dinner which I helped. My folks and I did watch two more of our movies. I hate to say that the movie "Fool's Gold" was a huge disappointment. The first minute was funny and after that it just got NOT worth watching. We also watched the movie "Vantage Point" a few minutes ago and we LOVVVVVVED it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can tell you that Dennis Quaid and Forest Whitaker were quite wonderful throughout the movie. I higly recommend "Vantage Point" it is a must see movie.

Right now my niece and her friend are enjoying their sleepover and I think that her friend is a really nice young woman and they are having a blast. I have to say that I enjoy spending time with my family.

More News...

Hello dear world

Good evening !!!!!!!! Here I am again. Well a whole new month came rolling in. Its been a week of work for me but tomorrow I am off for the 4th of July. Do you have any plans ? I hate to say it but I have been having some soreness in my neck recently.

Monday and Tuesday I will have to attend that Inmate Training in Jonesboro, Georgia instead of in Jackson which is much better and its closer to work. I do have to go back to work after the training. I also have to take a test while I am there and hopefully I will do pretty good on it. I am not a fan of taking test's my dear world. I will be going to the Clayton County Prison for the training. I will let you know how it went after I complete my training.

I am happy to report that Tuesday night my mom rented me some movies I wanted to see including "National Treasure 2" and the movie "Vantage Point" and of course "Fool's Gold" and I can't wait to watch them. I did watch the movie "I Do (But I Don't)" with Dean Cain and I have to say that Dean Cain made the movie worth watching. I'll have to let you know how the other movies are after I see them.

You might also want to know that a few days ago I bought the CD "Yes I Am" by Melissa Etheridge. My favorite song on the CD is "Come To My Window" which is a great song.

By the way my niece Jeanette is doing much much better which I am happy about. My other niece is doing great as well. I wasn't feeling too good yesterday when I got home from work but I took some tylenol and still my neck hurts but I am dealing with it.

News For Today.....

Hello dear world

Good evening to all of you. How is everyone today ? I hope all is well with you.

I am happy to report that my oldest niece is feeling better and she is on the mend. Anywho...yesterday my family and I didn't leave the house. Later in the evening a real bad storm came through our neighborhood and it started raining really hard and we did get some thunder as well. Our power did go out for quite a while. We called the power company and a few hours later our power came back on later in the evening.

In other news...today started another week at work for me. It was a pretty cool day in my neck of the woods of Riverdale, Georgia. I guess the rain cooled down the heat which I was quite happy about. For lunch I went to Subway and I got a Subway melt which came with ham and turkey and I took it back to work and it was quite good.

You might want to know that my boss is having me go to Inmate Training next week at Jackson. I don't think that I should be put into that kind of situation. I think that someone who is better trained in Law Enforcement like my dad is better qualified to handle inmates. I guess my work wants me to learn but I don't see that I am qualified for such a position. You never know my dear world you just never know.

Of course a few minutes ago my mom and I returned home after taking my youngest niece to her Swim practice lessons. She is still learning at this point but so far she is doing well. She seems to enjoy going swimming and she is enjoying her class. She loves the water and its always fun to go see her in her lessons.

After the swim lessons my mom and I and my niece stopped off at Sonic's where I got a hot fudge sundae, she got a vanilla dish and we bought my oldest niece a vanilla shake that we brought home to her since she is still recovering from her being sick.

So my dear world how was your day ??? I do hope that all is well with you. I will be off of work Friday for the Fourth of July. Do you have any plans for the holiday ??? I just thought I would come and share a little bit of my news with you.

Quite A Day....

Hello dear world

Good evening or good morning since its after midnight. I do have some news for you but please do NOT be alarmed.

Earlier today my mom and I had to take my oldest niece Jeanette to the hospital at Henry Medical Center because she was quite sick. We got there about 6:00pm. My niece was sick with nausea, a bloody nose and some other sickness. We just now got home and I wanted to tell you.

My niece did NOT get seen until about 8:00pm there were a lot of people in the Emergency Room waiting room. While we were in the waiting room there was a commotion because apparently a man had been stabbed. A few minutes later the man's brother came running in and he saw the people who had been with the one who had stabbed his brother since he too had an injury. Security was called and the commotion was taken care of.

Anywho...my niece was put in a room and a nurse drew some blood from her. The doctor came in later and saw her and he said that she was dehydrated and she had a little bit of a stomach virus as well. She also had a passing out incident at the house which he said came from the dehydration. She was given fluids at the hospital and they checked her vital signs and they gave her a prescription for the nausea.

She is doing much better my dear world and she is doing fine now. We will still monitor her of course. All is well with me and my family and my youngest niece.

Feeling Better...

Hello dear world

Good evening everyone. I am happy to report that I am feeling much much better. I am working on talking to the guy at work overall things are good.

You might want to know that I might be signing up for a class at the Police Department as I had once before a while back. Two of my teachers that I had been taught by asked me if I would consider signing up again for a class they were teaching and I am thinking of signing up. I think that it might be fun to take another class and learn something new. I have to go and see what class I might want to sign up for you never know. What do you think my dear world ???

In other news its still pretty hot in my neck of the woods but there is talk of rain coming our way. A little rain might just cool off the steamy weather so I will enjoy a little big of rain.

How are things in your part of the world ??? I hope you are all doing well. I am working on feeling better and yes I am reading some books I purchased recently so that is helping me too feel better as well.
